All Six Penn-Delco Schools Recognized for Positive Behavior Support

The Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support (PaPBS) Network has recognized all six Penn-Delco schools for implementing School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) with fidelity during the 2025-2026 school year.

Aston Elementary, Parkside Elementary, Pennell Elementary and Northley Middle School earned recognition for Tiers 1-2, while Coebourn Elementary and Sun Valley High School earned Tier 1 Sustaining recognition.

“Whenever recognition of our district’s exemplary programs, school climate, and wonderful students comes from an external agency, it serves to validate what we know: Penn-Delco has many terrific students, and our staff work to recognize their positive actions and qualities in meaningful ways,” said Superintendent Dr. George Steinhoff. “Personal character is an essential life trait, and programs that help reinforce mature and caring behavior will continue to be a priority for us.”

The schools will be formally recognized at the 2026 PaPBS and MTSS Integrated Implementers’ Forum, One System, All Learners: Advancing Integration in PBIS & MTSS, held November 4-6 at PaTTAN Central.

Congratulations to our students and staff across Penn-Delco on this districtwide recognition!
